My name is Karen
Lee-Nix, and I’m the president of All American Trivia Games, LLC. Obviously,
with the word “Trivia” in our company’s name, it’s apparent we market trivia
games to the American consumer. Some have asked why we chose the words “All
American” when naming our company. That can be easily explained since my
husband, David, and I write patriotic
trivia games that are based on our country’s history, its leaders, heroes,
landmarks and traditions. As a side note, my husband was a paratrooper in
the 82nd Airborne Division back in the early 1980s. The division
patch he wore on the left shoulder of his uniform featured the letters “AA,”
which stand for “All American.” David is the “Vice President of Game
Development,” meaning he writes the questions and answers to the game cards
and creates the trivia games. This is no easy task since it requires many
hours of reading, research, and visiting many of our country’s historical
sites to ensure our answers are accurate.
Our corporate
mission statement is simple:
To develop
patriotic trivia games which educate our fellow citizens about America’s
history, leaders, heroes, landmarks, and traditions.
In addition to our
mission statement, we at All American Trivia Games, LLC, are dedicated to
writing trivia games that are not only fun to play for the whole family but are
educational at the same time. The games were kept simple so that friends and
family can gather around the kitchen table without the difficulties of rolling a
die or having to move game pieces. It’s perfect for travel. Each trivia game is
conveniently packaged, affordably priced, and proudly made in the U.S.A.
Our first trivia
game is “HAIL TO THE CHIEF.” This trivia game was introduced to the marketplace
in September 2009. “HAIL TO THE CHIEF” is designed to test each player on his or
her knowledge of our presidents from George Washington to Barack Obama. The next
game to be released will be “PRESIDENTIAL FIRSTS” on April 1, 2010. Other trivia
games to follow in the coming years will be “VALOR,” “FIRST AMERICAN,” “LAND OF
LIBERTY” and “FIRST LADIES,” so please continue to visit our website for release
dates.
When
David and I were forming this company, many of our friends and family asked us
the question that every business venture must answer if they are to be
successful: “Who are your target customers?” Our reply to them was, “Every
